Microgreens are the second stage of growth after a sprout develops a cotyledon leaf and before any true leafs are developed in most variants to avoid a bitter taste. Basil and other seeds are grown to have this true leaf for an enhanced falvour.
Micrgreens take 1-3 weeks to grow. Orders are planted once received .
Sprouts are germinated in water while microgreens are grown in substrate. Sprouts – seeds and stems are harvested together. Versus with microgreens leafs and stems are eaten without the seeds.
